Why I am qualified to teach Disabilities Awareness |
John sits on the Board of Families of Children Under Stress www.focus-ga.org and Lekotek of Georgia www.lekotekga.org both Atlanta area non-profits providing services for children with special needs and their families. John is also the father of a 12 year old Scout who happens to be disabled. His work in the community on behalf of those with disabilities and he experience as a Dad will bring unique insights to this program.
As the parent of a child with special needs and an outspoken community
advocate for people with ALL types of disabilities John brings a deep
appreciation of the need for Disability Awareness in our Scouts and
their families.
